As a Behavioral Treatment Therapist, you will provide individual treatment for children and adolescents with a variety of special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, cognitive delays, and behavioral challenges. You will work both in the homes of our clients and in the community to implement treatment programs and behavioral strategies. At Genesee Community Services, you will learn and utilize the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to empower children and their families with the skills and knowledge needed to live successfully.     Position Overview

    Title: Behavior Treatment Therapist

    Status: Part-Time (Late Afternoon & Early Evening Hours)

    Pay: $14.50-$16.00 per hour


    • Provide individual treatment for children and adolescents in their home or in a community environment.
    • Implement programs and behavioral strategies driven by the Clinical Supervisor to help each child progress and develop the skills needed to flourish in their home environment
    • Collaborate with GCS treatment team members to create a positive therapeutic environment for those we serve.
    • Prepare and maintain written case notes that document progression and skill development.
    • Bring a commitment to achievement, a passion for care, and a deep respect for those we serve to all of your actions at GCS.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in a health service field preferred (i.e. psychology, sociology, counseling, etc)
    • 2000 hours of experience with children and/or adults with special needs
    • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience supporting children/adolescents diagnosed with emotional, mental health, neurological and/or developmental disabilities
    • Due to the nature of our business, all employees are required to have a regular driver’s license, valid car insurance, and reliable transportation
    • Access to a working laptop/computer and the internet
